Scars and Scratches:: Blackjack has many scars and scratches amongst his body but most of them hidden under his pelt.  There is one scar behind his left ear that is very noticeable however.  








Personality:: Blackjack lacks self esteem and often feel he is not good enough to help when there is a problem. However, if asked to complete a task, he will not deny it. He is only successful when his mind is fully focused on the task at hand. The male often gets distracted by little things, which is one of his greatest weaknesses. Despite being fully grown Blackjack still appear puppish on the outside. Acting hyper and goofing around when there is time to spare. Often acting sarcastic around others as well.  He is mischievous, full of curiosity he often gets into things he shouldn’t. It takes allot to get to know Blackjack however, he may appear shy at first, and it is hard to gain his trust.

Likes:: Blackjack likes to travel beyond the boundaries and find new places and things. he is not afraid of what lies ahead in the unknown, but instead it sparks his interest. He enjoys a good adventure. He also enjoys the company of others, when they are friendly.  Because of the fact that he didn't have the best of a puphood, he likes goofing around and playing games as if he was still a pup.  Growing up beneath the shadows has made him attached to dark places.  He also enjoys the nighttime, and stargazing.

Dislikes:: The brute dislikes violent or abusive packs, he has had the experience of growing up in one and it has only brought upon his hatred for them.  Its not just the packs either, he hates any creature who behaves in such a manner.  He also dislikes bright lights, it hurts his eyes, which are delicate from growing up beneath shadows. Lastly, and most importantly, he dislikes his past, as well as his memories.

Strengths::Growing up in a cruel environment, Blackjack had to fight for what he needed starting at a young age. He taught himself how to fight and use proper techniques, and grew pretty good at it.  He surpassed many trials, proving bis worth as a warrior. He also got pretty good at using his gifted elemental powers, Though he is by no means perfect with them and still continues to experiment and learn new abilities.

Weaknesses:: Blackjack has many social weaknesses.  One of the biggest examples would be his shyness that may appear when he first meets someone.  He gets bad social anxiety  and always expects the worst when meeting someone new. He also may appear overprotective of anything or anyone he cares for.  another weakness would include anger issues, and overacting to small things, making them appear bigger then they actually are.  Also, as mentioned above he has a bad habit of getting distracted, which leads to him getting off task and often not completing what needs to be done.  As for physical weaknesses, Blackjack lacks good stamina, and while appearing strong and fast a first it doesn't last long, and he gets tired easily.

Blackjack was born in a pack of deadly assassins, that spared no one who got in there way. He was the second born in a litter of four to two parents that went by the names of Anastassia and Jupiter. The pack was well known around the area, and had quite a bad reputation.  They were merciless beasts that lived under the control of a single wolf. Their alpha was a powerful and striked male that seemed to have everyone else wrapped around his fingers, the others would do whatever it took to please him. Practically worshiped like a god, he had all of the power that was needed to keep a nice and tidy pack, despite this he allowed the pack to slip into complete madness. Every day brought upon a new layer of chaos, and things seemed to get worse and worse.  They lived in a world of pure darkness and hatred.

Not only where the souls of these wolves condemned to darkness, they literally lived in a world of shadow.  The forests they roamed where so thick the sun could barely shed its light through the thicket, at least during the spring and summer when the treetops were webbed with leaves.  Though it lightened up in the winter when the trees where bare, blackjack didn’t know what winter here was like. Being born in spring, he hadn’t lived in the pack long enough to experience the cold harsh season.

Blackjack grew up neglected by his parents, just like many of the other pups had been.  He was taught the ways of the pack and didn’t know that the earth held anything better in store beyond those dark forests. Life is cruel, when the world itself is your enemy. He was taught to trust no one.  Starting as soon as he was old enough to no longer live off of his mother’s milk, he was forced to fight for his survival. Those who were weak where killed.  Resources such as food were limited, and as a youth getting what he needed was tough. The pups were forced to live off scraps adults left behind. The few who cared for the next generations survival would leave behind some, but there was not much to go around. They were forced to fight for what little they had, being one of the stronger pups, and being gifted with elemental powers, he was able to survive.   However he was forced to watch those he grew up with starve to death.  Living in this kind of environment had washed away most of his emotions, but somewhere deep inside he still cared and wished for a better place, a better world to live in.

When is hit the age of six months old, He found himself surrounded by higher ranking wolves of the pack. Clueless of what was going on, he cowered up against a tree, soon to find himself looking into the eyes of Ray, the alpha of this chaotic pack.  He signaled to the generals and they surrounded the youth, all looking directly at him.  Suddenly Ray spoke.  “I must congratulate you on making it this far, as you have probably noticed, many of your comrades have unfortunately fallen.”  Blackjack knew that despite what he said, Ray didn’t care at all about those who passed, if he did he could of done something to prevent it, but he didn’t dare speak. “You have come to the age where you must prove you loyalty to the pack and your loyalty to me” Ray continued. There was a sudden pause, and in that moment of silence Blackjack could feel the multiple pairs of eyes staring at him, making him feel quite uncomfortable.  It wasn’t long however before the deep voice continued.  “Do you hereby promise to follow all laws of this pack, as well as give your full loyalty to us and this pack only?”  Blackjack hesitated, cowering back into the tree.  He didn’t want to give his loyalty to such a cruel place, but the generals closed in beginning to snarl at his hesitation and he knew he didn’t have a choice. “I – I Promise.”  He said quietly. Almost immediately after, one of the generals scratched deep behind his left ear. Ray nodded, satisfied.  “Congratulations young one, you are able to start training for a rank.  Remember this day lad,  the scar that you received is proof that you belong to this pack, and this pack alone.”  The large male stated before walking away off into the distance.

After that, life continued as it had, except Blackjack was now training to be a warrior.  The trials that came with this training were not easy, but he made it through, proving his capability for the rank.  The fighting for food did not stop either.  If anything, it was only getting worse, each day the hunters brought back less and less.  The pack was slowly slipping into a period of starvation. He watched more of his comrades fall before his eyes. During this time the younger generation of wolves was declining rapidly.  It wasn’t long until Blackjack found himself extremely hungry, and with that he was growing weaker.  He knew he could not survive in these conditions if things continued the way they were. He would fall just like the others, and be left for time to devour his existence until he was forgotten.  However, the brute had strong willpower and would not allow himself to go in such a manner. Struggling to his feet, the scent of meat was not far off, and he knew where it was coming from. It was a daring task, but it was that, or death.  

It was a matter of waiting for the right opportunity, as soon as the carcass was left unguarded he would strike.  He knew that if he was caught it would be the end of him. The carcass was left for Ray, but at this point he didn’t care.  Eventually, the right moment came and he snuck in, ripping off chunks of meat as fast as he could, however, it was not quick enough. The alpha had returned, and needless to say was not pleased. Blackjack immediately ran the other direction as ray ordered wolves after him.  He was just barely able to escape the jaws that would have torn him to shreds with no mercy.

He ran for miles until he didn’t know where he was anymore. He found himself in an open field.  He was not used to this amount of light and it stung his eyes, but at the same time it was beautiful.  On his own he discovered the beauty the world held. He had never seen it before, living deep within the darkness a light was barely starting to ignite inside of him. He enjoyed finding new things and places and discovered what it meant to have fun living out the pup hood he never had, but still on his own. During this time however, he was glad he was alone, all he ever knew was hated from others and he didn’t know that there were some wolves out there that were actually kind.

For some time, he traveled these unknown lands alone. That was until someone else on their own crossed paths with the male. She was a small and gentle wolf and certainly no threat.  Her pelt held a mostly amber hue, while her eyes were a soft forest green.  She greeted the brute with a smile,  “Salutations fellow traveler, my name is Aria, and you may be?” There was a moment of silence as Blackjack searched for the right response, however, all that escaped his lips was a low growl.  Aria simply took a few steps back, not taking her eyes off of Blackjack. "You don't have to worry, I am no threat to you." she said quietly.

After a moment, the brutes growl softened to silence, but he didn't take his eyes off of the female.  Aria smiled again, she could tell that the male hadn't eaten anything in probably several days, He was looking quite thin for such a tall wolf. “I recently saw an elk herd as I was traveling,  they all looked healthy, so there was no way I could take one down on my own, but if you would like the two of us could probably take one down together.”  Once again, Blackjack found himself not knowing how to react.  It had indeed been awhile since he had had a good meal, and knowing where this elk herd might be located would be nice. “Where did you spot them?” he asked, in a demanding tone.

“Follow me” Aria turned around and began walking back the direction she had come, Blackjack followed. It wasn’t long until the two of them found the herd of elk. With  her speed and agility, and his strength and elemental powers it wasn't hard to bring one down. At first he wasn't sure he wanted her help, but accepted it anyways.  She didn’t seem like she was mean.  The two of them shared to elk. “You know, I never did catch your name.”  The female spoke after they were finished.  The brute now didn’t hesitate to answer. “My name is Blackjack.”

The two then stayed together for several days. Though he wouldn't of admitted it, Blackjack had previously felt a little bit lonely and was glad to have her as a companion. He was strong, and capable of surviving on his own, however without someone else there he didn't really feel alive. Truthfully, he needed someone to guide his way, to see past the darkness the world seemed to bring and into the light. One day however, he woke up and that someone was no longer there.  Aria had disappeared, and it was unknown as to if something had happened to her, or if she simply abandoned the brute and moved on.

From then on, Blackjack continued on his way into the unknown. Though he missed the fea, he had no other choice but to move foreword and try his best to forget. At least now he was aware that not everyone in the world had a hideous attitude like the ones he grew up with.   A light now guided his way, but his past would always haunt him. The scar behind his ear would always be with him, reminding him of his heritage, and the madness that still lived in his blood. However, looking foreword he hoped to find himself a new home.  Somewhere that wolves cared for one another. It was time for him to forget the promises he made to his old pack, and move on, he didn't have much of another option. Something told the brute a place for him existed somewhere out there, it was just a matter of finding it.
